People often buy a gemstone and then ask whether it was the right one. It is worth doing in the other order. A consultation with Vijay Karande covers which stone suits you, the weight it should be, the metal it should be set in, and which finger it should be worn on. Those four answers change what you should buy — and sometimes the answer is a smaller stone than you were about to purchase. We hold the consultation before the sale for exactly that reason. It is a better conversation when nobody has paid for anything yet.

What customers usually ask
Do you buy back old gold?
Yes. We buy and exchange old gold and silver. The piece is weighed in front of you and the rate is quoted against the day's market price, so you can see exactly how the figure was arrived at.
Is your jewellery hallmarked?
Yes. Gold jewellery carries the BIS hallmark for its stated purity, and diamond pieces come with their certificate.
Can I get a design made to order?
Yes. Bring a photograph or describe what you want and we will make it. Bridal sets in particular are usually made to order, so allow time before the wedding date.
Which gemstone should I wear?
That is what the astrology consultation is for. Vijay Karande will advise which stone suits you, the weight, the metal and the finger — before you spend anything on a stone.
Do you sell gold coins for investment?
Yes, hallmarked coins and bars in standard weights. Many customers buy them at Dhanteras and Akshaya Tritiya, and for gifting.
What are your timings?
We are open every day of the week, 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, including Sundays.
